Conservation is something the American people need to improve on especially the big corporations that make and sell to the consumers. But energy wise passive solar is the way to go with every household on the globe. Their are quite a few methods that are passive in the realm of conservation,
that help minimize electricity usage. Which also minimizes the amount of fossil fuels that need to be used, to keep up with our energy consumption.

When a building has passive solar capabilities it's able to absorb and store the suns heat, the walls, floors and windows are made to collect, store and distribute solar energy in the form of heat. Dont get it confused with active solar heating which involves solar panels and mechanical, electrical devices.
Passive is much more "humble", with bigger taller windows to allow more sunlight in the home, and insulated thermal flooring and walls.
Passive solar techniques can be applied to newer houses, older homes can be retrofitted with some of these designs. Some would say that all that insulation will make it Unbareably hot during the summer in some regions. But the sun rises and sets in different areas thats why we have winter and summer. Whats happening in a passive solar building is its better constructed to allow sunlight (heat) to easily find its way in and "self-heat" the building through conventional methods. It makes it tough for the heat to find its way out of the building thanks to insulation and concrete walls.

The buildings will have proper ventillation  so the heat can work its way all throughout the area, top to bottom. the main source of heat transfer is radiant energy, and the primary source is the sun. Solar radiation occurs predominantly through the roof and windows (but also through walls). Thermal walls moves from a warmer surface to a cooler one. Roofs receive the majority of the solar radiation delivered to a house.

Tsunami's in themselves are disastrous wherever they strike. But in Japan's case they were a victim of 2 different natural disasters, Japan had made the precautions to protect the public from Primarily Earthquakes and tsunami's but not to this magnitude. That's why it was so catastrophic they were not expecting a 100 year old super quake that was in the making. The earthquake's epicenter was off the coast of Sendai Magnitude of 9.0 the fourth strongest ever recorded, since record keeping was possible on earthquakes in the year 1900.

The Japanese were very prepared for an earthquake at any time. Due to the location of Japan, earthquakes were the norm. Their buildings were made to handle such violent shaking; they even had large walls constructed of concrete to prevent the the ocean from coming in and obliterating infrastructure. Then how did 15,889 deaths, 6,152 injured, and 2,601 people missing, as well as 127,290 totally collapsed buildings occur? To answer that question, lets first understand what KIND of earthquake it was, in layman's terms it was a GIANT rubber band that's been wound up for 200 years, enormous amounts of stress caused by the Pacific Plate pushing into the Eurasian Plate over decades and centuries, pushing the Eurasian Plate downward into the earth. Then all of a sudden at 2:46, Japanese time, 200 years of stress was released all at once, causing a huge ripple in the the earth's crust that jutted across thousands of miles. The main earthquake was preceded by a number of large fore shocks, with thousands of aftershocks reported, leaving around 4.4 million households in northeastern Japan without electricity and 1.5 million without water.

The globalization of health intrigued me in the sense that people arnt dieing as frequently in the past, and this is leading to a increase in population growth on the planet. Globalization has affected public health in a great way, one way would be vaccine-preventable communicable diseases like anthrax, measles, mumps, etc.Immunization against vaccine-preventable diseases prevents nearly three million deaths per year. Being able to Vaccinate Children and people in places that dont have the money to be, Increased Funding intiative for immunizations at a global scale.

Even the eradication of some dieseases like polio and smallpox has been made possible through Globalization, Several developments related to globalization have affected the delivery of immunization services and the supply of vaccines. These include an increased funding base at the global level, increased attention to regulatory standards.
There are many studies on the consequences of globalization on availability of pharmaceutical products.
Weapons have been around since man needed meet, Guns have been around since the creation of flintlocks, and Guns in the U.S. have been around society since european settlers came to the america's. they're Utilized in different ways crimes, self-defense, Rereational use like Target shooting and hunting. While there has been regulations on Firearms and weapons in general, in the past. there is still the right to own and bare arms thanks to the second ammendment, from 1787. In the article "Gun control involves the regulation of the ownership and use of guns as well as safety issues related to firearms. Those favoring strict gun control laws argue that firearms regulations, such as the Brady Law, are needed to reduce the crimes and violence in which guns play a role. Those opposed to strict gun control laws interpret the language of the Second Amendment as guaranteeing citizens the right to own firearms."

The history of regulating private ownership of Firearms in the U.S. dates back as far as colonial days, examples being Masachusetts Colony forbiddance in 1692 of Firearms in public areas 1791  The Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution is ratified. The Second Amendment states: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." There are laws that restrict your second amendment rights, and some to alleviate those restrictions.

Gun-Control advocates rally behind high crime rates and deathes linked to Guns. They call for limits on certain types of guns citizens should be allowed to own like semi automatics. Also want stricter registrations and training requirements.
